A pinch pot pear. I'm hoping this one will stay in one piece, but it may not because the two different clays will react differently during the firing.

Glazing. The tile is a sample of the glaze on a similar clay so hopefully my faceted pieces will be yellowish green with coppery bronze breaks on the facets.

The result of "practicing to throw big things". I hate to waste anything and once a large pot or bowl begins to de-center, I tend to cut off the top and work with whatever is left, therefore producing quite tiny little bits and pieces that I then don't really know what to do with!

This is my favourite pot ever. It's the most perfect cylinder I've ever achieved and it's quite nice even without the candle inside. I decided not to glaze it so it's a lovely textured cream colour from it's bisque firing.

I adore pears as ornamental pieces & this one looks great! Can you please post a picture of how it turns out after it has been fired? I'm really keen to see it as a finished piece. Lee :)
