My Creative Space: Kanoko Pants

Due to the super coldness we experienced while staying in Melbourne, I decided the Munch needed some longies. I'm in love with this free pattern, but I think the wool I used is a bit too delicate for the end use. It's gone quite felty in the major scooting areas (knees and bum). I have a feeling it would have all been ok if she was walking most of the time, but as our little scooter is VERY cautious, our primarily mode of locomotion is still crawling.

It's a little different to the original as I misread the pattern during the main part of the moss stitch, only doing half and being somewhat further down the track before I realised what I'd done. I also did little icord ties at the bottom of the legs to match the waist and to keep things nice and snug and warm ... none of this flapping about letting cold air in stuff!

Details here.
