The boy went off to do boy things last weekend and I went up to visit my parents. It was lovely to spend some time pottering about doing girlie things with my Mum. We dropped into Stitch Bliss to pick up a crochet needle for my first Brown Owls meet on Sunday. We ended up buying some lovely knitting books and I will definitely be back there to buy some yarn once I've gotten a bit better at the whole crochet/knitting thing.
We received a belated wedding gift that will have a proud spot in the garden at Toxteth.
I visited my Dad and his latest project.
And spent some time hanging out with my parents new stray, Pablo while taking some photos of the sunset. Very relaxing!

wow! those photos are gorgeous. i spent time with my mom this weekend too. it was so nice hanging out, just the two of us - no other siblings around. that hardly ever happens. we had a really great time together. sounds like you had a great weekend as well! :)
