The Bathroom

The bathroom is slowly coming along. We have most of the main elements but the pieces still haven't had their final putting together.

The taps are all ready to go, but we need to get our wallpaper put in first as it will run behind the vanity and tapware. Once that is done the vanity can be fixed in place at the basins, tapware and electrical points can be installed.

I'm keen to get a shelf for storing toiletries to break up the emptiness of this wall above the bath. We're planing on installing an antique chandelier above the tub, but I still haven't managed to find one that I like. You can also see the back wall of the shower recess that still needs tiling.

This is the extent of our tiling so far. Our Nephew has kindly offered to tile the shower recess and accepts payment in KFC and football tickets! He's squeezing us in on weekends between other jobs, hence the partially completed state. The gaps will be filled with glossy black mosaic tiles on the wall with the shower heads and on the floor.

At least the view from the tub doesn't need any work!

Oh Wow! Your bathroom is going to look amazing, definitely worthy of a magazine, that's for sure! (Just point them away from the massive tv and they'll never even notice it's there) I especially love the wall behind the bath and the bath tub itself, and the view - stunning!
