We have ... half a wall!

At the moment we're only concentrating on the areas that need to be done so that we can get the bath tub and toilet into the bathroom. So while the front face of the new wall where the bath will go and the corner where the toilet will be are coming along in leaps and bounds, the rest of the bathroom is a little neglected.

Paint and skirting boards are go! The boy was just finishing off painting the skirt when I arrived last night. I still don't really know how the colour looks in day light, but I'm a little concerned by how beige it looks with the 'construction' lighting the boy had set up (though not so obvious in these pictures).

Why I haven't see the wall colour in daylight is a whole other story. Suffice it to say the boy gave me an in-depth tutorial on how to work the locking mechanism on our font door. I'm feeling very blonde right now!

The toilet will sit on the spot where the card is now, we'll have to get the skirting boards on and painted before the toilet goes in, otherwise it's a huge pain in the bum. You can see that the back of the new wall doesn't have any sheeting on it!

Our sadly neglected back wall. We pulled all the boards off in preparation for Plan A so now the whole bathroom has been redesigned, the boy will have to put them all back on again!
