Hi Julie,
We're fine and were never in any danger. A few people down the road from us were inundated, but not too badly (only bottom floors).
The boy is going out with his brother and their ute tomorrow to help out in some of the worse effected areas. I'd be going along too, but the chances of the munch getting gastro and then being a burden on an already strained system seems like a bad idea to me.
Believe me it's been a strange and terrible time for a lot of people around this neck of the woods.
