Retrospective: The Slab

Since I discovered I was pregnant and the subsequent arrival of our little madam, the renovation blogging (and renovations) have fallen by the wayside. I'd always meant to post these things as they happened, but could never seem to find the time or energy. So I'm going to do a few catch up posts, to get us up to date, so that when new things do start happening again I don't have such an overwhelming backlog to contend with first!

I'd forgotten what a relief it was to finally have the washing machine under our house. The previous system involved walking back and forth across the paddock to our niece's house (in the background) to get a load done!
