A break from pots

It's the end of our latest block of pottery classes, so I'll have a few weeks with an extra evening to move our things into Toxteth. Here's where I'm up to:



These little fellas will eventually be a set of bells ... I hope!



This is one of a pair of platters that I'm hoping will fire with interesting results because of the impressions in the surface.



This little piggy bank was inspired by a visit to the Ipswich Art Gallery's Queensland Folk Art Exhibition.



The pear in progress. It should be fired by the time we start back. I'm excited to see how it turns out.



This one was made on a fairly disorganised evening during the change over from outdoor throwing work and indoor hand building work. It will most likely find a home in the garden.
