Then, gift to self and gift to nephew safely home, the process of selecting the perfect paper and ribbon combination commenced! I ended up deciding on brown paper and some chunky twine ... which reminded me of some beautiful packaging received from a fellow Brisbane blogger, Ash @ one blue wren.
I thought my selected print was gorgeous enough, but when the package arrived I was equally excited by the cute card and brown paper envelope. I'm hoping to pick out a couple more of Ash's beautiful prints so I can hang a little triptych at Toxteth. Which means I have a couple more packages to look forward to!

Another packaging doyenne is the lovely Alischa @ Bespoke Press. Having drooled over her turquoise quote print for quite a bit, I decided I couldn't wait for a handover in person and just had to have it ... NOW! So, having finalised my paypal order I promptly received an email claiming I was some kind of goose for deciding to pay for something that I could have had for free (I'm VERY slowly designing Alischa and her boy a garden. Apparently this is a good enough reason to give very beautiful letterpress prints away for free).
Anyway, my beautiful packaged arrived and I was incredibly excited, until I discovered the additional surprise hidden under my latest acquisition ... the purple quote print ... and then I was over the moon!

Now I have to choose suitable frames.

Both sets of packaging are just beautiful.. I wish my handwriting was as nice as 'one blue wren's'.
I am a brown paper kind of girl also. I once wrapped my sister's xmas present to look like a 2'x3' airmail envelope..
I adore brown paper packaging tied with lovely twine. Your packages look beautiful & the prints are gorgeous too.
