It's been a while since anything actually happened out at Toxteth. It's also been a while since I've managed my morning walk out there. So I was very excited to hear (via the boy) that Pat the Carpenter had made a start on our front stairs. Of course I rushed over at my earliest convenience to collect evidence for you all!

How exciting....i used to rush over to our house whilst it was being built no matter how small the job that had been done that day...
I even remember once having had day surgery and feeling really awful, but begging my husband to drive past the block on the way home from the hospital so we could see what might have been done for the day....
he of course thought I was nuts!
Hi Anna! I've just found your lovely blog, via... Bespoke Press, i think? So nice to read something so local... we are building a home in Mount Crosby, very near the 'swich- a very different house to yours, but it's good to hear someone else's trials and tribulations, nonetheless! I'll be keeping an eye on your progress!
Good on Pat - he sounds a gem Anna! Thanks for the evidence, you'd make a very good CSI!
Millie ^_^
